Children's Circle of Care Conference
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. May, 2002. Client: Children Circle of Care Foundation
This prestigious organization, founded by Bill and Melinda Gates, saw 500 of the top donors to North America's pediatric hospitals in attendance for a three-day gathering. The conference was highlighted by a plenary session at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, a gala formal dinner in a clear-top tent on the steps of the Art Museum featuring Sheryl Crow and a fireworks finale, three additional receptions during the week and a matrix of twelve tours throughout the region.
American Bar Association Mid-Year Conference Event
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. February, 2002. Client: Bar Association
In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Philadelphia Bar Association, a 900-person reception was produced in the grand ballroom of the Loews Hotel to welcome the American Bar to the city. A non-traditional Philadelphia block party was created, with extensive food stations, eleven performance ensembles, culminating withe a concert by Danny and the Juniors, the Shirelles and Fabian.
Dow-TAPPI Conference Event
San Diego, California. May, 2001. Client: Dow Chemical Company.
Over 300 guests were transported from their hotel to as a surprise site - - Seaworld - - where a cocktail reception was held among the dolphins, followed by a formal dinner under a pavilion that had been transformed into an underwater home of King Neptune. After dinner our guests moved to an amphitheater for a special sea lion show which concluded with a fireworks display over the bay while dessert was served.
Drexel University Orientation
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. September, 2000. Client: Drexel University.
An all-day effort to galvanize some 2,200 Freshmen on their first day of college was produced on behalf of the university, featuring four huge video screens in a box formation with the students seated Ain the round. There was no stage as all speaking roles by administrators was done from locations in the middle of the seated students on bleachers. A three-camera shoot kept the opening session spirited with live images of the students placed on screen, captioned with humorous phrases. Extensive pre-recorded video segments introduced the audience to their new lifestyle and a rousing finale motivational speech set the stage for the rest of the day. This was the first time an orientation of this type was instituted at the university in an effort to heighten school spirit with the ultimate goal of retention of students over succeeding years.
Congressional Village
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. August, 2000.
Client: United States Congress Republican Congressional Committee.
One hundred and four Congresspersons and 374 family members arrived at the former Philadelphia Navy Base for a six-day stay during the Republic National Convention. With the region's area Congressmen as hosts, and U.S. Rep. Curt Weldon as chairman, the old Navy Base was transformed into an upscale retreat complete with swimming pool, full recreational facilities, hotel amenities and six star service, 24-hour meal service and a military display featuring all services from the Department of Defense, including state-of-the-art helicopters and other aircraft, simulators, a Scud Missile launcher and other exhibits. The entire scenario of a hotel system built from scratch was accomplished in less than three weeks.
Chemical Conference Closing Event
Washington, D.C. May, 2000. Client: Dow Chemical Company.
A group of 300 officials of the paper/pulp industry were treated to an evening of art, music and culinary delights at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. We brought in Turkish dancers to complement the Treasures of Topkapi exhibit to begin the evening and ended the event with a Adown-home@ fiddle fest featuring some of the country's finest violinists.
TEAM Pennsylvania Academy
State College, Pennsylvania, November, 1999. Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
An day-long meeting of 350 corporate executives from across the state for the inaugural gathering of this group of gubernatorial appointments. The purpose of the academy was to stimulate interest in the marketing of Pennsylvania to new companies by using existing corporate citizens as ambassadors of sales. A special theatrical set was installed, as well as two large screens and 18 video monitors, which were used to tell the Pennsylvania story with customized videos produced for the occasion.
1999 Bentley International User Conference

A four-day conference with 1,800 in attendance saw 22 presentations over the time period, with keynotes from such luminaries as Tom Peters. Each of the presentations used complex computer demonstrations with a 120' theatrical stage set in the ballroom of the Marriott Hotel to enhance the presentations.
International Monetary Conference
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. May, 1999. Client: American Banking Association.
A 300-person event was produced at the Academy of Music involving the chief executive officers of the world's banks. The guests were escorted back stage into a formal dining room set on the stage with the proscenium curtain down. On cue, the curtain rose to reveal the majesty of the opera house as well as a 24-piece orchestra. Throughout the evening four performances of 20th century American music were presented, including instrumental, vocal and dance. The finale was provided by a performance from famed composer/performer Marvin Hamlisch.
Global Engineering Conference
Las Vegas, Nevada. April, 1999. Client: Bentley Systems, Inc.
Some 1,200 delegates participated in a four-day conference in the ballroom of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, with eight complete set changes and presentations that included a 120' wide stage that saw a 20-member dance troupe appear from behind a 50' wide scrim that disappeared on cue , which was preceded by a global sampling of international music. All announcements were made in 16 foreign languages to represent the worldwide mission of the event.
Bentley Power Conference
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. October, 1998. Client: Bentley Systems, Inc.
This year's engineering software conference was partnered with the Rebuild America organization, which heard from keynote Jack Kemp as well as a host of global industry giants. The plenary sessions were staged in the ballroom of the Marriott for 1,200 attendees, with the room situated with three 12' x 16' screens and a stage set resembling a construction site. Throughout the three day sessions a highway bridge was build to enhance the purpose of the program in rebuilding the infrastructure of the world's cities. The room was turned around in 90 minutes to a formal awards dinner venue and then turned back for the business sessions the next morning, with each turnaround having a different look from the previous one. In addition to live image magnification, two video sources and five computer sources were projected, including a live product demo with four computers being switched and linked between the screens.

The hardware company's Summer home and garden conference was accompanied by three tours, two social events and a closing dinner that was highlighted by a performance of the famed Crystals.
Bentley Power Conference

This 800-person three day meeting was highlighted by a three-screen set piece that was altered for each of nine sessions. An AIndiana Jones safari marketing thematic was enhanced with live wild animals and a closing keynote by Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight.
Democratic National Committee Event
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. October, 1997. Client: Democratic National Committee.
With a guest speaker list of one: President Bill Clinton - - we were asked to recreate the look and feel of a national political convention in the CoreStates Center entertainment arena. Some 1,000 guests witnessed a the spectacle, which included a custom made set, specialized lighting and a huge balloon drop at the conclusion of the President's remarks.
Bentley Proactive Engineering Symposium
Palm Springs, California. Rome, Italy. October, 1997. Client: Bentley Systems, Inc.
A three-day conference was staged in Palm Springs for an audience of 500 national engineering executives on behalf of Bentley Systems. A program consisting of 16 speakers, each with elaborate computer-driven presentations, was presented amidst a special stage set with three screens, a four camera image magnification shoot, and elaborate opening and closing segments that included the dropping from the ceiling of a Tom Cruise look-alike to replicate the famous scene from the film Mission Impossible. This entire program was duplicated in Rome two weeks later for a contingent of executives from Europe and the Far East.
National Conference of State Legislatures
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. August, 1997. Client: National Conference and Pennsylvania State Legislature.
We produced the closing event for 5,000 delegates and their guests, at the CoreStates Center. The event was focused on a social evening that utilized the American Bandstand thematic to include dance, live musical performance, video presentations, extensive food displays, decor and special effects throughout the four hour program. Our guests were shuttled from numerous hotels to the venue as part of the operation.
WSFS Employee Meeting
Wilmington, Delaware. May, 1997. Client: Wilmington Savings Fund Society.
The first business gathering of the bank's employees was designed to communicate how the institution would progress over the next ten years. This Fast Forward program included a reception, the launch of the campaign via an actual blast-off simulation using sound and lights as well as computer -assisted remarks by the chairman and executive vice president.
Bentley Engineering Conference
San Antonio, Texas. April, 1997. Client: Bentley Engineering Systems, Inc.
A three-day 500-person business meeting was produced, which included five business sessions and two social events. Extensive staging, lighting and effects were programmed to alter the look and feel of each business session. A three-screen stage set spanned the entire 85-foot front of the Marriott Rivercenter ballroom. The video components included live image-magnification, pre-taped modules, a video conferencing as well as Internet data transmission on all screens. The entire event was packaged to offer live and pre-taped segments of a network news program - - called BNN - - which was broadcast on 24 monitors throughout the conference site.
PECO Energy Venture Fair
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. March, 1997. Client: PECO Energy Company.
Some 9,000 employees of the utility company attended a three-day trade fair in the practice bubble at Veterans Stadium, designed to showcase the new ventures of the company that are planned for the next five years. Some fourteen booths - - all customized -- were the centerpieces, with a central video monitor array and stage used by company executives to highlight several of the ventures. A food station, specialized lighting and decor complemented the booths. An extensive security check-in system was devised to assure the confidentiality of the ventures from non-PECO employees.
UNITE Users Conference
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. October, 1996. Client: Unisys Corporation.
The opening session of the 1,600 member conference featured extensive audio-visual presentations, computerized water fountains, a motivational speaker and special effect lighting to complement the thematic of the meeting.
CoreStates Bank Employees Meeting and Celebration
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. September 1996. Client: CoreStates Financial Corp.
In honor of the newly opened CoreStates Center arena, the bank invited its 18,000 employees to a meeting and reception in the new facility. An eight-camera live video shoot was uplinked to three remote sites during the first hour, which featured the chairman and vice chairs of the bank. A live Macarena dance with the thousands of employees segued from the serious meeting to the reception. During the reception fourteen different performance elements were offered in addition to a buffet service for all guests.
Andersen Consulting Corporate Presentation
New York, New York. June, 1996. Client: Andersen Consulting.
A three-hour marketing presentation by senior partners of the international consulting company was made to the top electronic companies in North America. The event took place in The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center, featuring extensive computer-generated presentations. This was the first presentation of its kind by the group to this level of audience.
International Gynecologic Cancer Society Biennial Conference
Philadelphia. September, 1995. Client: IGCS and Fox Chase Cancer Society.
This international physicians' conference was held for the first time in the U.S. with five days of sessions and workshops, four evenings of social events and ancillary tours and visits for the 800 participants. Our company handled the planning, implementation and production of the registration, transportation, social events and organization of the conference.
American Nuclear Society Annual Meeting
Philadelphia. June, 1995. Client: American Nuclear Society.
We were asked to plan and implement the plenary session, which began at 8 a.m. in the Philadelphia Marriott ballroom for 1,000 persons. After researching the organization and the attendee demographics, we produced a laser show choreographed to high energy music. The show served to get the meeting off to a dynamic start while waking up all guests in attendance.
PECO Energy Employee Meetings
Lancaster, Valley Forge and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. March, 1995. Client: PECO Energy Co.
Over 6,000 employees attended this three-part meeting, at which company officials presented a tough futuristic agenda, took questions from the audience and concluded with an upbeat dramatic interactive video presentation.
Villanova University Steering Committee Year-end Meeting
New York, New York. December, 1995, 1994. Client: Villanova University.
A 100-guest meeting and closing dinner reception were produced on behalf of our client at Steinway Hall in Manhattan. The reception necessitated the removal of over 40 grand pianos from the venue just three hours prior to the arrival of guests in the room. Lighting and seasonal table decor transformed the room into a holiday delight with pianists in the rotunda of the historic structure providing some of the entertainment for the evening.
MidLantic Bank Employee Hospitality
Jackson, New Jersey. October , 1994. Client: MidLantic Bank.
Over 2,000 employees and 12,500 additional family members attended an all-day corporate event designed to thank the staff for its efforts in helping the company to achieve a greater market share in its territory . As part of the event a photo session was held with all employees forming the shape of the bank's logo, to be used both internally as well as for public promotion purposes.
Cooper Hospital Foundation
Cherry Hill, New Jersey. May, 1994. Client: Cooper Medical Center.
We were asked to create a new setting for the hospital's board of directors meeting, including the invitation to the public to attend. Over 600 citizens witnessed a meeting that was highlighted by a multi-media and live presentation of the accomplishments of the hospital. Three weeks later we produced the hospital's annual gala, which saw 800 people witness an evening of magic at a formal dinner that included indoor fireworks, lasers, a magic act, a 15-piece orchestra and various dance troupes.
CoreStates First Pennsylvania All-Employee Meeting
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. November, 1993. Client: CoreStates First Pennsylvania Bank.
Over 1,400 employees and officers of the bank attended this annual meeting and reception, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The meeting was highlighted by the creation of a Broadway theater inside of the Center, with various types of Broadway scenes tying together the numerous remarks by bank officials. Included in the meeting was a computer generated multimedia presentation and live acting and singing, all from the client's staff.
PECO Energy Company Corporate Identity Change
Philadelphia, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. December, 1993. Client: Philadelphia Electric Company.
A series of three events was planned and produced for all of PECO's 10,500 employees to announce the formal change of company identity, which was to begin publicly on January 1, 1994. Divided into three geographic regions, the events each included a meeting conducted by the top management, a dinner, an unveiling of new vehicles, a multi-media presentation, a fashion presentation of new company apparel and a finale laser show.
Elangy Corporation Annual Managers' Meeting
Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania. October, 1993. Client: Elangy Corporation.
A three-day meeting of over 300 managers of a nationwide chain of jewelry stores was held in a resort location, utilizing all function rooms of the venue. Fourteen separate meetings and social events were implemented, including the turnaround of the main ballroom five times in a 30 hour period.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. December, 1993 and December, 1992. Client: CoreStates Financial Corp.
These annual meetings of the bank's 2,100 officers were held at the Philadelphia Civic Center in 1992 and in the new Convention Center in 1993 and featured extensive video and slide presentations, specialized lighting, a 18-member dance troupe, a 15-member singing ensemble with full set and the use of a 20 x 60 foot computerized water fountain.
U.S. Healthcare Year-End Meeting/20th Anniversary Commemoration
Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. December, 1991. Client: U.S. Healthcare, Inc.
This corporate session featured the 150 senior management officials from around the country for an eight-hour meeting including AV modules (one in 3-D), futuristic dancers, a game show, a comedy performance, keynote speakers and special effects finale including lasers, lighting and multimedia images.
Honda Dealers Association Annual Sales Meeting
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. October, 1991. Client: Tri-State Honda Association.
A gathering of some 250 dealers from throughout the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware region was staged to unveil new model vehicles. The meeting was themed to meet the needs of the client, including AV modules, a lavish brunch, entertainment, motivational speaker Pat Croce and special effect lighting.
